Simon Price - TV & RADIO

Simon Price at BBC Radio Sussex, 2011I've made many appearances on radio and television over the years, usually to talk about music.

I've been a frequent guest-presenter of BBC Introducing: The South for BBC Radio Sussex, as well as a regular contributor to various shows on BBC Radio Wales, and BBC Radio Ulster's Arts Extra, as a rock and pop expert. Other radio appearances include BBC 6Music's Round Table, BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, BBC Radio 2's Janice Long Show, Swn Festival radio, and Voice Of Russia.

Television and film appearances include When Pop Ruled My Life: The Fans' Story (BBC4), Most Annoying Celebrities Of The Year (BBC3), The Janice Long Review Show (Vintage TV), The Vanishing Of Richey Manic (Channel 4), Sky News, BBC South-East News, and David Bowie Is Blowing Our Minds (V&A website).

I've also made blink-and-you'll-miss-me appearances in pop videos by Manic Street Preachers, Kenickie, British Whale, Fabri Fibra and Adam Ant.

Many of them have, unfortunately (and in some cases, fortunately), disappeared for all eternity.

However, here are a few surviving audio and video clips...

BLINK AND YOU'LL MISS IT: INCREDIBLY SHORT APPEARANCES IN MUSIC VIDEOS

Manic Street Preachers - "You Love Us" (See the guy invading the stage at exactly 3:08 in the leather jacket with the star-shaped badges on? And you can't even see his face? And you have to freeze-frame it to even see it? Yeah, that's me.)

Kenickie - "Nightlife" (See the guy at 2:55 and various other moments, with the shaven head and leopard print coat, and you can only see the back of his head bopping about? Yeah, that's me.)

British Whale - "This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us" (See the guy in the frilly black shirt at 2:46 jumping up to applaud? Yeah, that's me.)

Fabri Fibra - "Speak English" (See the guy at 2:02 on a Brighton street corner giving directions to the Italian rapper? Yeah, that's me.)

Adam Ant: "Cool Zombie" (See the guy sitting in the crowd at 0:25 and again at 1.04 and 1:45 with the spikes and sunglasses on his head? Yeah, that's me.)
